This course will be presented by a Melbourne icon, Channel Nine's Peter Hitchener. Peter has thirty-six years experience in the news business, more than thirty of them presenting to camera. Peter began his career in radio, at 4BH in Brisbane, before stints on the ABC, 3AW and 3AK. Peter is currently Channel Nine's chief newsreader, delivering the nightly news to over 600 000 viewers.

This is a comprehensive workshop providing a thorough introduction to the craft of presenting & interviewing for the screen. You'll learn the skills required to deliver news, lifestyle or corporate information reading autocue, as well as on-screen interview techniques. Includes practical experience working to camera, as well as autocue and multi cam studio. Delivered in the Channel 31 Studios in Swanston Street .

Prerequisites: some filmmaking knowledge an advantage
