Come along to OPEN CHANNEL's free Video Slam remix and forum at Horse Bazaar, 397 Little Lonsdale St, on Thursday 22 May, from 7.30pm. Film makers, artists, lawyers, and producers will slam out a sound and video work that explores appropriation, remix, and the use of public space in the electronic arts. Call for Film Submissions : Entries Close 14 July Calling all emerging and established filmmakers with a passion for human rights: HRAFF is now looking for films for its 2008 program. Shorts, feature documentaries, narrative features and experimental film all welcome. The only criterion is that the film engages with human rights and social justice issues. In 2008, HRAFF events and screenings will take place in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth with thousands of dollars in prizes up for grabs!
